My first impression of this book is that it was written in the 50s. I debated putting it down but was curious about why the major character, Nick Devereaux, was kidnapped from 1981 to a future time in 2095. I’m glad I did because the book’s writing got better and so did the storyline; although, I could have done without the author's political rant about how 21st-century liberals ruined the United States.

Several scientists and thought-policing individuals added to the plot. The most rewarding chapter centered around the gynoid protagonist being punished by the head of security and a time guardian. I didn’t realize how much I had been routing for Devereaux until I read that chapter. Devereaux only gets back to his own time and reunited with his fiancée at the end of the book; and a happy ending.… (plus d'informations)
