Hopefully anyone who begins with this book will then find books that will help her learn how to do it well, and not just quick short cuts.
Definitely not for the beginner or the impatient.
Adult nonfiction; embroidery/sewing. Another embroidery primer that encourages modern girls to take up this lost art. The cover illustration is perhaps the best part of the book--the technique instruction is good but many of the projects themselves are uninspiring (and often not very attractively packaged). I would recommend Jenny Hart's Sublime Stitching instead.… (plus d'informations)
Good for beginners. It didn't have as much detail or depth as I would have liked, and the projects were just ok.
