Really enjoyed both stories and authors, seamless transition between the storylines. Both have strong male and female leads and character driven stories but my favorite was Maggie and Simon, what a couple!

DNF- Got to 9 % and just did not care for the writing style(too many POV's), the story or the characters. It was just everyday drama, not something I'm interested in.

An excellent Regency romance, which posits the question: can a man and a woman be platonic friends in Regency society. The hero is a dashing rake, and the heroine a faultless upper class lady, but the plot is something other than run-of-the-mill "opposites attract." The secondary characters are entertaining, including the lady's irrepressible children.

This is the third Alicia Rasley book that I've read, and they're all excellent. She deserves to be more widely read.

The Kindle version had way to many typos and a glaring error where the wife of an earl is referred to as a duchess.… (plus d'informations)

Charming novella about a romance between a poet's widow (who is herself a poet) and a Royal Navy captain.
