I actually won this book through a Goodreads Giveaway, which is one of my favorite ways to get a new book.

Hard work and perseverance will always win out other people's definitions of what is possible. As inspiring as Little Car is, the artwork is what caught my attention first with this book and it is sure to be what draws in young ones as well. Lively, colorful illustrations, that take me back to my own childhood with a nod to the great artwork of kid-lit greats like Curious George, keep the story moving along. Teaches kids when squealing on a fellow classmate is appropriate and when it is merely tattling! Set in a school classroom, the kids in the class constantly tattle on each other, creating an air of frustration and distrust. The teacher, rather than policing the situation, addresses underlying feelings and encourages mutual problem solving.
