Hard work and perseverance will always win out other people's definitions of what is possible. As inspiring as Little Car is, the artwork is what caught my attention first with this book and it is sure to be what draws in young ones as well. Lively, colorful illustrations, that take me back to my own childhood with a nod to the great artwork of kid-lit greats like Curious George, keep the story moving along.
