I got this as a freebie on the Kindle the other day and only really downloaded it as I liked the cover art. The story is similar in premise to 50 shades, but a lot darker and there is no happy ending. I gave it only 3 stars as the sexual content was a bit too dark for my tastes, but the writing itself was a lot better than quite a few books that are in the erotica genre.

Goodness gracious...this had me all up in knots (pun...well, not inteded, but there you have it)!
Ok, first things first. This is NOT a romance. It's a story about a broken woman healing and embracing who she has become. And in that context, it's a wonderfully written story.
I have to admit, I was wary going into this book. The end of Obsessions pissed me right off. I am an admitted HEA lover, and well...that book just made me scream in anguish. I wanted there to be redemption for Gabrielle. I was not expecting the ending we got, and I was pretty damn mad about it!
That brings us to Redemption. I had preconceptions about how it was all going to play out...again, I was looking for redemption, this time of Noelle...but I was NOT expecting how it would come about.
I am not going to spoil this book, and really I can't say much about it and not spoil it. Just know that if you are looking for a good book that explores the human psyche and how it can be crushed and built back up... this is a great read. This book is all about Noelle healing and coming to terms with who and what she is. It's not pretty, it's not easy and it's not romantic. It is captivating and definitely a book that should be on your TBR list!
