I found this very helpful. It gives fair balanced insights into what to look for in a partnership and how to make a partnership work.

Edited (last bit) to show that I am somewhat more moral than it otherwise appears.

I've never read this book and I'm never going to but I'm giving it 5 stars anyway, because I'm in the book. I was living in two countries with a long-term relationship in each, both the men knew, there was no deception.

I was interviewed several times over the course of a month, the men didn't know - this was total deception, when Susan said that I had lived such an unusual life if either of the men read the book they would probably be able to identify themselves and was I happy with that? Since the book was likely to be on my bookshelves they might well read it and no, I wasn't happy with it, so I phoned her to pull out. She said there was just one phrase she would really like to use and she wouldn't attribute it to me, so I said, ok. This is the phrase:

I come from a long line of women on both sides who hate housework and love fucking.

So should you read the book, you know I come from a slatternly family of hot women!

Do you think I was immoral? I'd like to know.

Later there was a third man, all of them knew about each other. All were very serious, long-term relationships in different countries. One was white, one black and one a Chinee man. I did enjoy myself. (The white one was my first husband, the black one became my second but in between I was briefly engaged to the Chinese man, actually a Trinidadian).
