Excellent history of black comic artists in the early days in this medium. Love the samples of their work.

This is a fantastic book! The author's meticulous research, coupled with the compelling stories of these forgotten Black artists are complimented by his wonderfully clear writing style. Quattro is a noted comics historian and this book delves into an unexplored area of both comics history and Black history. It is a movie in the waiting! A great, great book!
