Umphh, umphh, umphh! If I could only use one word to summarize Insignificant Others, it'd be SPICY! These two stories had my Kindle smoking! Just when I thought Erotic City couldn't get any hotter, author Pynk threw a torch on it, & stoked the fire even hotter! I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Carol Taylor, author of The Ex Chronicles, Plan B, had me wanting to smack some sense into the characters in the book, I know I cussed a couple of them out!

This collaboration is the perfect blend of drama, erotica, suspense, and a thrill-seeking ride! I recommend it to anyone looking for their next great read!… (plus d'informations)

This book was definitely not the book for me. I do have to say that Ms. Pynk is a brave brave women, because this book is raw, gritty, and to me even, sometimes shocking. Ms. Pynk dives head first into sex addiction and it's players. This is definitely an adult only book, filled with explicit scenes that are intense most of the time. I think this author has a very unique writing style and she works it, but I just couldn't love this book. Maybe you will. Have you read it? I would love to know what you think. Hold on to your chair because you are in for an insatiable treat.

Politics.

Escorts.

Blackmail.

This has to be one of the best books I have read in 2012...

Pynk takes us deep in the world of Lip Service; an Escort service ran by Madam Money Watts. We are also introduced to three escorts by the name of Leilani, Kemba (male escort), and Money's sister, Midori. Each of these characters is dealing with the drama in their own personal life & the lives of their "companions". That's when excitement begins...

"Funny how the very people who make the laws are sometimes the ones who patronize the offense."

When I read that line I knew I was in for a treat. This novel packs in everything from page-turning plot twists, drama, lies, sex, politics, and blackmail. Pynk does an excellent job giving each of her characters depth which made this book very satisfying to my soul. I had my opinions about Escorts, but after reading this book it made me think otherwise. While reading this book I felt as though I was a fly on the wall - having the pleasure of getting the inside scoop. Yes! I admit I'm NBN (Nosey by Nature).

I'm warning you now - clear your calendar for the day - because once you start reading this book, you won't put it down until you are on the last page.

I highly recommend this book.

I have had the chance to read one of PYNK’s novels in the past and I really enjoyed it. So when I was asked to read her newest novel I was more than willing to oblige. I expected POLITICS. ESCORTS. BLACKMAIL. to be fairly similar in content to the last of her books that I read. To an extent it was. But what I really liked about this one is that along with the sex that comes with an erotic novel I felt a real connection to the characters. It was pretty refreshing. And even though there are a lot of “happy endings” in the book, the story as a whole doesn’t have a happy ending for everyone. The fact that these characters get a dose of reality really makes PYNK’s novels an even more enjoyable read.

I can’t say that I liked that characters, on a personal level. They all had some issues, and their motives weren’t always the best. But they were very well-developed characters and they each had a specific purpose in moving the story forward. Money, much like her name, was driven by money and it showed. While I didn’t agree with her, I understood why she was doing the things she did, and I respect her for being who she is regardless of what others thought of her. It was the same for all the characters. They didn’t necessarily make the same choices I would make, and I didn’t agree with what they were doing. But these characters didn’t apologize for what they were doing, because it might offend someone. I really loved that about this book. The fact that the characters despite not being the most reputable of people weren’t really hiding anything.

PYNK’s writing is awesome. She was my first exposure to erotic literature and she did a great job of breaking the stereotypes of what I thought erotic literature was. This book has a plot, it’s not just sex for the sake of sex, there is good character development, and the story is intriguing. Actually most of the ending of the book has nothing to do with sex, it’s just a good story with the sex thrown in for a different kind of reading experience. I have to say I really enjoyed reading this one and can’t wait to read another PYNK novel!
