I was so not happy with this book. There really wasn't good character development for me, or maybe it was that by chapter 2 I was bored, I couldn't care less for these people, didn't understand there attraction to each other when they really didn't even like each other..yeah crap

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author...(netgalley) voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions

One of the best femdom stories I have ever read. Compared to other femdom, it's five stars.

Characters are believably flawed but still engaging. Both learn and grow through out the story. Kink is well done and largely accurate, a nice change. I'd rate the kink as moderate, but YMMV.

My only issue with the book is Leah's insecurities. By the last quarter of the book I was ready to slap her (while still being able to sympathize with her, especially when Michael kept making things worse!)… (plus d'informations)

For me Lead and Follow just didn’t provide enough storyline. . I didn’t feel like I was able to know either Dima or Lizzie as characters, I wasn’t vested in their story, but I knew the authors would give the reader the expected HEA.

The book had a very small cast of characters (6, and 3 of those were mostly name only references) I felt no intimate connection or chemistry between Dima and Lizzie, They had a long term dance partnership going back to their teens, now as adults they both seemed to want more from their relationship, but didn’t know exactly what they wanted from each other or how to get it. Adding to this, Dima and Lizzie both had different views on what their dance future should be, and there was little communication between them on this topic.

The bright spot in the book for me was Paul, he was a warm, caring character, who gave of himself to both Dima and Lizzie. I felt more chemistry between Paul and Lizzie, then I did between Dima and Lizzie, and would have been happy if they had stayed together as a threesome, but alas that was not the HEA the authors had in mind.

The sex scenes in the book played a supporting part in the limited plot, but I found myself saying “enough” let’s have some character development, growth, dance scenes, plot.

I was actually bored by the overall book. For me this was a 2.75 star read.

Couldn't finish this book. Tried but the main character Trish just annoyed the hell out of me. I don't know how the author thought you could even like her, she thinks she's
Gods gift to everyone. Ahhh annoying.
