I was expecting fables, and got...not sure what. Generally in this type of book there are lessons to each tale--the moral of the story is...? But many of these stories just petered out. No idea why the story was told or what I was supposed to be getting out of it.
I'm trying to remember who I know that really likes fables (particularly animal-based fables), but I'm at a loss, so instead this one just goes in the box for the bookstore!

A little boy named, Harry thinks that he is a Ophan because he looks up the meaning of it and it says " A person without a mother or father is a ophan." His mom past away when we was one. He gets up set and tells his dad and his dad tells him that he has so many people around him that cares about him. He end up calling his grandma and his Aunt and grandpa and they all tell him about his mom and what she ws like. At the end out the book the teacher asks the student to wrote about one person they want to be like, and he ends up writting about his mom.
