I mostly enjoyed this short story. Lots of good characterisation and scene setting. A bit predictable and corny at times. Very easy to read.
I won this KINDLE edition in a GOODREADS giveaway.
I love everything about this book! A frightening plot to bring The United States to it's knees, and the people who refuse to allow it to happen. Some fun little plot twists, that actually make a lot sense and make you go hmmm maybe we need to go there. Intriguing story that is impossible to put down!
Sometimes the action was just too... much... the bad guy(s) were nearly unlimited. One gets killed, no worries, another swappable bad guy filled in for the next scene. We know the main character was not going to be defeated because he had so many minions ready to take a bullet on his behalf. Someone had to die in each scene, but fortunately it was not Nick, nor the main bad guy (until the final battle that is).
That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the story, I did... it was just on the Bourne side of the ability scale and, after awhile, after the 5th or 6th conflict, it just got tiring to read another scene where the same stuff happened. There was no downtime between each event...… (plus d'informations)
