Air, Water, and Weather is an informational text about science. The book is split into three sections. First is air. The book discusses what air is as well as different components of air such as pressure, expansion, hot air balloons, etc. It continues on to discuss water and weather and different properties of each. I thought this book was okay, but it was not too interesting. The facts were good and there were both illustrations and photographs. However, the book was not too entertaining. I think the best informational books are the ones that engage the reader and provide facts. This text seemed a little boring in my opinion. For example, the text is dry and provides the reader with definitions. It reminds me of a science textbook. Overall, I thought the book could have been better, but it was okay. It is very informative, but not interesting. I think the main idea of this book is to provide the reader with information about different properties of air, weather, and water.… (plus d'informations)

A serviceable, large format book with numerous illustrations scattered over every page. Some photographs are quite good, but the comic drawings are a poor choice. Resembles an Eyewitness book, but has a higher text to image ratio.
