Excellent. Powerful antidote to the feminism infecting the Church, by way of tracing the historical roots of this feminization, and articulating a Christian approach to masculinity and femininity that doesn't erase differences but embraces them rightly. Podles' documenting the influence of the Bridal Mysticism of the Middle Ages was particularly enlightening.

I made it only a fourth of the way into this book. I got bored with the unending listing of the names of priests and where they committed the abuses. I was hoping to learn more about the backgrounds of the victims and perpetrators. Maybe there's some of that buried somewhere later in the book, but I couldn't stay awake long enough to find it. I gave the book away on BookMooch.
