Predators and Prey (Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season… par Joss Whedon
This volume had a pretty distinct shift in tone and story from the previous Season 8 volumes, and it was fun in its own (slightly gimmicky) way! The Satsu and Dawn issues were the strongest; they did a good job of continuing or wrapping up plot points from earlier all while developing the bigger picture (although Kennedy is mega-annoying here). Also three cheers for seeing more of the FaithxGiles team-up!! That issue felt like random filler but it was enjoyable to see them in action nevertheless. :)… (plus d'informations)
This is my favorite season eight collection so far. Andrew should be as prominent in all the stories-I love his character. I enjoyed the Harmony story lines a lot too. Continuing a beloved TV series in graphic novel form was a wonderful idea, and for the most part, I've enjoyed Buffy season eight. This collection was just a little bit better than most.
This had a pretty classic BtVS twist featuring Harmony and I think it was pretty much everything it should have been. Reversal of public opinions, taking down the old guard, and doing the right thing despite horrible odds. Story-wise, it was humorous and dark.
I love that Buffy continues. Uneven in patches, strange in others but on the whole worth reading and following.
