An anthology that seems to have coincided with an exhibition in Greenwich, with stories themed around parts of the solar system - starting with Mercury and working out to Voyager I. In particular the very first one, "Golden Apple" by Sophia McDougall, about a child dying of sunlight, and "The Comet's Tale" by Matt Jones, about a forbidden love affair and Halley's Comet, will both linger with me.… (plus d'informations)

Well-written, sort of pleasant, but no real payoffs to any of this year's stories. None of them are long enough to really introduce a mystery, and the solutions (when a solution is required) are ho-hum.

A sampler with 3 stories. The first is nicely written and pleasantly humorous, but reads like an opening chapter. I wonder what comes next? The second story is an interesting take on World War I weapons testing that begs to be expanded into something more substantial. The third story is well done. Female villains sit around and bitch about how they are treated, forced to dress, and so on. The best story of the three.
