This book is aimed at those who believe that stones can be harnessed for healing. I believe that any such effect is almost certainly a placebo effect, so that aspect of the book holds little interest for me. What does interest me is the gemstone identification that is provided, which is easily the easiest to use of any book on gemstones that I have encountered. The pictures are very helpful, and the text relating to each gemstone (apart from that related to its healing powers, which admittedly is most of it!) is brief but to the point, describing its likely presentation and source.… (plus d'informations)

This cheery 158 page stunner is the perfect guide and gift for those wanting to learn the property of gemstones at a very quick glance. I was very impressed with how thorough this little wonder is, especially when it comes to the different methods of clearing crystals. Over the years I have heard people give very rigid ways that you must clear your stones. So it was a welcome relief when I was given a bunch of simple methods. I also really loved the sections on describing a crystal and how to choose which one is right for you. The pictures throughout were delightful, fun and brought a lively happy energy to the book.

The section on the stone properties themselves was nothing short of fabulous. Each crystal was grouped according to it's color, and then the stone had it's own page so I could learn about things like the birthstone, planet, and element associated with it. The thing that made me chuckle the most were the tip areas at the bottom that gave us unique ideas for using each one. I learned that I can give an Agate to my mate to promote faithfulness, I can connect with Apatite to recall my past lives and I can even hold Rhyolite to my skin rashes to help ease the discomfort. I would recommend this pert and perky buddy to anyone wanting a reference for crystals. This one has completely made it into my spiritual tool box.
