A terrific book by one of the great heroes and leaders of the 8th Air Force.
A history of the Eighth Air Force in World War II and the 384th Bombardment Group. Various newspaper clippings, a one page typewritten memoir telling about Christmas 1944 in a German prisoner of war camp. (Stalg-Luft IV near Keifhiede in northern Germany near the Baltic Sea and inside the Arctic Circle. Also included is a reprint of General Patton's speech to his Third Army on the eve of the Normandy invasion.
