"Golf: Steps to Success" is a well-written, fundamentally sound instructional book that should appeal to both beginners and seasoned players. The book starts teaching about the swing from the shortest arch (putting) to the longest (drive). After helping the player with swing technique and basics about the game, instruction then moves to more specialized parts of the game such as bunker shots, uneven lies, club selection, and strategy.

Possibly the best feature of the book are the myriad drills that accompany each chapter and swing type. Even the most veteran player will find a drill or two that he or she has never used and will benefit from. Plenty of pictures are attached to each drill to help the player with visual aids.
