I Go Quiet is a book you will want to fill your soul and reflect upon. The illustrations bring new thoughts each time I have read it. I feel for the character as she travels through hours and days going quietly and feeling insignificant. The character is introverted or avoiding social anxiety, but feels alive within the pages of a book. She is discovering how her voice will sound when she demands others take notice.
