Dismembering Lahui: A History of the Hawaiian Nation… par Jon Kamakawiwoole Osorio
A joy to read for someone interested in the history (and the present and future) of Hawaii. It has the best Preface and final chapter of any book I've read - moving, honest, challenging. As the first book of Hawaiian history I have read that is written from the point of view of the Native person it comes as a welcome change. Quite apart from all this it is well written. I yearn for more in the same vein.
