I'm such a Tess fan, but this one felt just a bit too short. Things wrapped up quickly and I wanted more.
This one disappointed me just a bit.

The ending was so dramatic but yet her parents just rolled over and acquiesced when Clutch made his speech? Really? It seems like they shouldn't have cared he'd been a hero again. I get why Taylor would want Clutch, but she's such a drama baby I don't feel like it should make up for her attractiveness.
I am curious to see how Dray and Cassie play out. I figure Barrett will get his own book, too.

What I liked....Street a.k.a. Amy. She's funny, loyal and in love with another of the Stone brothers. She becomes a true friend to Jade. Just wish Hunter would get his head out of his rear. Oh the bad guy getting his just rewards at the end.
What I didn't like....why is the town half afraid, half in awe of the Stone brothers? There are mentions of scars on their backs and sounds like they were neglected but that's it. Makes it a little hard to be empathetic and really connect with them when you don't know the whole story.
Oh....and Colt goes and has a threesome AFTER he meets Jade and they share a couple of "moments". His reasoning....he did it to be able to keep his hands to himself? If he really wanted her that bad then no other woman or women would do. Not that his brother is any better. He will use Street for some fun when it's convenient but she's not allowed to even talk to another man... doesn't matter that he screws anything that moves. Sorry, don't like the double standard in life and don't care for it in my books.
Will I continue the series? I'm a glutton for punishment and hold hopes that the brothers just need to find the "right" woman. Or in Hunter's case realize he has that woman in his life.… (plus d'informations)
