I feel like the title was misleading. 'Folklore' to me pertains more to myths, faerielore, or even urban legends rather than the dialect and anecdotes of friends and family.
Much of the book was quotes that most parents say to their children across the country, so one could hardly say that it is part of St Louis lore.
Very disappointing..
