I received this book as an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is a great book. I was kept guessing throughout, which is a great for a mystery. The characters are developed, but not overdone and the book moves quickly. This would be a good book for a book club or a beach. Enjoy!

Six long time friends get together for Maggie’s bachelorette party. The next morning, one of them is found dead and Maggie has done something that is sure to change her life forever.

This is a well written, engrossing read. The character development is good and although you may think you have it all figured out…..read on!!!

Six old friends wake up the morning after a bachelorette party celebration to find that one of them was murdered.

I struggled with this one... I just didn’t like or relate to any of the characters and none of them were interesting enough in a bad way to compensate for that. It also has maybe 25% more secondary characters than it needs to. You’ll also wonder for the first two thirds of the book why it takes place when it does, and when you find out, it just seemed like a lot of effort for limited use.

While the reveal was interesting enough, the epilogue and the bit at the end took a wrecking ball to that and the rest of the book, and not in any good way. I don’t remember the last time I disliked an ending that much, so since the rest of the book was passable, I’m going to pretend it didn’t exist. 2.5 stars rounded up, but only because I’m mentally erasing the memory of the epilogue and postscript.

Thanks to NetGalley, the publishers and author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

Secrets, infidelity, chaos, relations and jealousness. That's how I would describe 'The Last Night Out'. A well written novel that keeps you on edge. The Novel was put into everyones own point of view. Leaving enough room to try to piece the puzzel together as it slowly unfolds in your hands. Loved it!!
Thank you Catherine O'Connell for giving the oporitunity to read such a twisty novel. That's how I like them!

I highly recommend 'The Last Night Out' for anyone that loves a good Thriller.… (plus d'informations)
