Caragh M. O'Brien received a B.A. in physics from Williams College and an M.A. in the writing seminars at Johns Hopkins University. While raising her children, she published half a dozen romance novels. Before becoming a full-time author of young adult novels, she taught high school English. The Vault of Dreamers par Caragh M. O'Brien
Um. Ok. This was a bit like a roller coaster ride where the car you're riding in falls off the track on the last loop. I enjoyed the experience, but I may have to read a book with a happy ending next to balance out this one. I liked how this story incorporates cell phones, the internet, and other modern technology into a rather creepy near-future dystopia that leaves very few happy endings as even possible. I'm curious to see what happens in the next book, for sure.

I liked it, but I didn't love it like the first one. I think it's because I'm a little tired of the love triangles in YA books, and this one ups it to a love...square? The fact that one girl has three suitors actually works really well with the story (there's a shortage of females), but that back-and-forth of it fell a little flat for me. Having said that, this books brings up EXCELLENT topics of conversation re: reproductive rights and the role of health care providers in society. There are no easy answers given, which I also liked. So, LOVED it? No. Worth the time? Yes.… (plus d'informations)
Fabulous feminist dystopian fiction. Just wonderful. There MUST be a sequel. I mean really.
