Lola Oberman (1916–2017)

This book conveys the excitement of birding and how it starts in most people. For those already birding it i exciting as it strikes a common chord.

The next to last story, titled "The Last Life Bird" is especially good. It puts in perspective what our prioities are as we mature. The very last story contrasts what a birder and a non-birder notice at the same time and place, and that is a fitting end to this book.
