The Prologue starts off in a way that I never expected - I had to actually go back and read it again because I wasn't sure that I had read it correctly. Dan is relaxing at the bar after having a great time with some buddies. He gets a really hot kiss from a stranger. What a really hot way to start a book off.

There is one song that seems to be a favorite. If you grew up in the sixties, you will know who Peggy Lee is. If you would like to see how she sings the song "Fever" you can check it out on YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5Uw1lJ2C9U (this was done when she was on the Andy Williams show).

This book taught me something that I never knew before - what a Tgirl is. Besides having a lot of great sex, Fabrege gives us a great story that plays like a movie in your mind. It also has a very interesting ending. It makes me want to go and catch a show at Trans-Action. Then I got a surprise when I read the Biography. I never realized how prejudiced I was about who writes the better erotica. Fabrege has changed my mind. I look forward to reading more of his work.

This is only part of my review. The full review can be found at http://lynnareynolds.wordpress.com

Danielle goes to a club where trans gather for the first time. She meets the owner of the club and the attraction between them is hot. Danielle finally feels as though her life is full but Danielle has secrets. These secrets could hurt or enrich her life. What will Danielle decide in Faberge Nostormo’s HIS SECRET DANCER?

At first I thought this would be only Danielle’s story but there are so many layers in HIS SECRET DANCER. The story is told through four points of view. There is Danielle and her reality, Daniel. There is Tomasz, Danielle’s lover, and there is Francine, Daniel’s lover. Much of the story is told through at least two pairs of eyes, sometimes three.

HIS SECRET DANCER is an intimate read because of seeing the story through so many viewpoints. I could feel the emotions and identify with the thoughts of all the characters. I felt the pain of knowing something is missing between Daniel and Francine. I felt the joy of the feminine come through Danielle. I felt the sexual arousal and culmination between Danielle and Tomasz, Tomasz and Francine, Francine and Daniel, and Daniel and Danielle. I felt the fear Daniel felt in telling Francine about Danielle. I felt the fear of Tomasz when faced with losing Danielle. I felt the dominance of Francine as she deals with Daniel and Tomasz. I felt the questioning of Francine as she finds herself aroused by women, transwomen, and Danielle. I also felt Francine’s sense of betrayal when she discovers Daniel is Danielle. It is that discovery that brings out the truth and honesty between these characters. It is a beautiful moment when the realization of what has happened, without any high drama scene, shows these people where their futures lie.

HIS SECRET DANCER is well written, intimate story. I was involved in the story from the beginning and did not want it to end. These are remarkable characters that I rooted for from the beginning hoping a way could be found where all could be satisfied and happy.
