Henry Franklin Norton

A quirky Little Free Library find. This was originally published in 1923 and then reprinted in the 1970s by a local Martha's Vineyard Civic organization. Norton was born and raised on Martha's Vineyard and was part of a long history of his family on the island. It's a very scattered and highly of it's time history along with various stories of residents and a few local legends tossed in. Also some very faint photographs and a few drawings. I love the Vineyard and I enjoyed reading it but I can't say I am sure I learned much of the history or think it was all the most important parts. But it was a strange little thing and I am glad I came across it. Oh, and some odd bits of poetry, good and bad.… (plus d'informations)
