The research results he describes all support each other in this, granted from different disciplines, but the author fails to explore the underlying issues and the connections between them deeply enough to sustain a monograph length argument. I liked the second half of the book much more than the first. If a reader was to feel bored during the first three to four chapters, I would suggest hanging in there. The benefits of water are not the sole focus. The author introduced the Blue Marbles Project which I felt is an inspiring way to love our earth & it’s inhabitants. If you aren’t familiar with the Blue Marbles Project check out the book or search @1bluemarble in social media. We need to do all we can for OUR Earth.
