Really enjoyed this - very very weird SF with just enough logic and internal consistency. All the stories are well written ending in a punchline/twist that you don't see coming. The setting is loosely SIngapore for all of them and the feel somewhat aking to Jeff Noon's Pixel juice, although there are no repeated characters.

A man learns that all the animals at the zoo are robots, A secret terminal at the airport caters to the gods, A prince falls in love with a crocodile, The island of singapore disappears, a concubine is lost in time. The latter is brilliantly done in a Choose Your Own Adventure style, with different times to pick, but also cohesive to read straight through - very skilled. The gods is just funny and clever like most of the others.

I suspect long-form novels would need a very different writing style but for this collection it's great and a name worth looking out for.

An excellent collection containing some excellent stories. Highly recommended to all fans of SFF, especially if you're after stories set in or about Singapore.
