In book 2 of The Gwen Sparks Series, we see Gwen in Moon preparing for a war against vampires. Her relationship with Aidan is stretched to the limit when she learns of secrets he’s hidden and the American Witches Council finds out she’s bonded to Ian Devereaux. In the middle of all of this, in walks the handsome Dorian, Angel of Death. This sequel was even better than book one, Gwen learns about her powers, there’s romance and even some mystery in the mix. Coveted is book three of the Gwen Sparks series. It continues where the previous book, Deceived leaves off. The bond with Ian Despereaux was broken when Gwen staked him in the heart. Her relationship with Aiden has been broken beyond repair when she learns of his addiction to Brew and his subsequent murders of her fellow witches. As she distances herself from Aiden and focuses on her spirit walker training, she finds herself becoming closer to Dorian, the sexy and ruggedly handsome Angel of Death. Gwen’s life is further turned upside down when a bounty is placed on her head and rogues from The Veil begin attacking her. Will this poor girl ever get a break?

Wow! I can’t tell you how awesome this book is. There’s nonstop action as we try to uncover what the VC and NAWC are up to. There’s edge of your seat anticipation as they rush against time, add mystery and romance with a completely surprise ending I didn’t see coming and you have an amazing five star paranormal romance!

Hexed is book four of The Gwen Sparks series. The story continues where Coveted left off. Gwen visits a new bakery and questions the owner about the illegal spells being placed on the cupcakes. The owner blows blue powder into Gwen’s face and …poof! She’s transported into the middle of the street with no memory! Dorian is running to her and she runs away, after all, she doesn’t remember him! Once again, Gwen’s life is turned upside down as they try to help her remember and also try to figure out who put the bakery owner up to removing Gwen’s memory. Remember in Coveted when Dorian said he’d have to pay a price for saving Gwen from dying? Well, it’s time to pay the piper and you’ll never guess what they want.

Once again, Stephanie Nelson does not disappoint. The characters we’ve grown to love, and even some that we hate, make an appearance. Gwen shows enormous courage throughout this story, even when she couldn’t remember anything she was still rather spunky. I also thought it was neat to watch her fall in love with Dorian all over again. This was a pretty fast paced action filled paranormal romance. I really hope there will be a book five. These are characters I’ve grown to love and I hate to see their story end.
