This is a difficult book to read. The facts presented are very disturbing and should be more widely discussed, This book unfortunately is also in desperate need of a revision which enlists the aid of a good editor -- it suffers from a lack of coherence. The main goal of the book comes through quite clearly though: children throughout the world suffer because of the role of religion in their societies and in their parents lives.
