Hiroko Nakamoto

I read this many times as a kid but always took it out of the library. I had forgotten the title and finally managed to track it down and take it out of the Cambridge library. It is written for children but it is a tough read for an elementary school aged kid and I'm suprised I read it a few times. However, it really stuck with me, some parts were very vivid. I'm glad I read it again. I also did some research and found Ms. Nakamoto, perhaps not suprisingly, has become very involved in the world peace movements and is part of a group to make a memorial gate in Hiroshima.… (plus d'informations)
