This is a fun cozy set in Santa Fe's food culture. The characters are likeable and engaging.

First, the critiques: The "Santa Fe accent" was a bit distracting (as inaccurate as it was), the pronunciation of a few words likewise, and the story dragged a little longer than I'd like at times...

But overall, there was mystery, intrigue, surprise, friendship, and a touch of romance.. all the right ingredients for a good cozy. I will read the next book in the series... (it's always nice to choose local 😁)

This is the 3rd book in a cozy mystery series set in Santa Fe, NM. I am sad it's also the last book (so far!) in the series... and I hope she writes more! It's well paced and well-charactered, and the mysteries are not obvious (which I like!). I enjoyed this one in particular ... because it's Christmas, because it's familiar (Santa Fe) and because the mystery was well-paced, written, and resolved! Hoping for more!

I really like this Santa Fe cozy mystery series (so far!) -- I like the characters, the mystery, the pace, and I really enjoy the "local" setting. I *think* it's a good cozy, even if you don't know the city, but it's fun reading a cozy set in a place I know pretty well. :) In this one, I ended up having suspicions but nevertheless being a little surprised w/ the reveal. I always enjoy that. ;) Definitely looking forward to book 3!
