This is the story of a sloth who is very sleepy. The other animals wonder why he is so lazy. Sloth challenges the other animals to try someone else's trick. When they are incapable of doing the other tricks, Sloth points out how each animal has something he or she is good at, and for him, it's sleeping.

I would use this book for K-2 graders when learning about animals or habitats. I think it would be fun. I would incorporate an activity where each student could demonstrate an activity they are good at.… (plus d'informations)

About a dog and cat that live under the same roof. They can't seem to get along. They fight about anything and everything and it is driving their owner, Lucy crazy. After a really bad night Chester the cat leaves and doesn't come back. Lucy and Buddy the dog can't find Chester anywhere. Then one night Buddy realized he missed Chester and went out looking for him at night. He ran into the alley cats and at first the cats didn't like that Buddy was there, but then he said he was friends with Chester. Then the alley cats were more than happy to help Buddy find Chester. They found Chester and he was still upset about their last fight, then Buddy said that he missed him and they went home. Lucy was so happy to see they were both home safe. Great story on friendship, forgiveness, and family. preK-2… (plus d'informations)

A bright and colorful book until the univentor takes everything away, including Og the dog. The book makes you see how important everything is and how not to take things for granted. I would like to hear what kids think are the most important things in the world.
