He was then assigned to Siam (now Thailand) in 1945 to do the same. “Almost every living thing in Siam, with the exception of the armed forces, appeared to enjoy a scrap with members of its own species.” However, the Japanese surrendered soon after his arrival and the task became to find POWs and organize the disarming of Japanese troops.
After the war Moss turned to family, adventure, travel and writing. He published novels, non-fiction, a screenplay, and engaged in freelance journalism. After years of hard drinking he died in Jamaica at age forty-four.… (plus d'informations)
