In this picture book, Tracker John and his dinosaur friend, D.J., introduce the children to the Institute for Creation Research (in California), where creation scientists study dinosaurs. Tracker John explains that God created the dinosaurs and how the sin of Adam and Eve may have affected them. Next, he tells how pairs of dinosaurs were on Noah's Ark and how the rest died and became the fossils we now see. After the flood, he explains that the dinosaurs couldn't survive well on the post-flood earth and therefore became extinct. He speculates that the dragon stories of old are based on real dinosaurs.

The cartoon illustrations of this book will appeal to preschool and primary-age children.
