A very different (at least in my experience) approach to the management/leadership concepts. I found the content very philosophical (theological) in nature.

The concepts do not seem to be well integrated (logically) however this may be intended as it makes you stop and consider how they fit together and what the extended implications of the specific concepts will prove to be. Part of my difficulty may be that he is writing to normal business management, whereas I am a start-up entrepreneur and thus do not follow a 'classic' business management model.

I have enjoyed each of the presented concepts (11 in 12 chapters) and each has made me pause and think. None of the concepts are truly 'new', however the approach to the concepts and the way he describes them raises many implementation questions (especially when one considers how they interact).

I found the primary points well worth careful consideration. I believe that the key concept is that business is not an end in and of itself but is rather a facet of life and as such needs to be treated as life. In short there is absolutely no moral separation between business and life. There is no 'applying christian principles to business' but rather a living ones christian life (which includes business) with consistency.

There are many secondary points - basically one per chapter.

1. Values and integrity are insufficient to direct a business (exactly like life). Without a definitive foundation, a state of 'situational ethics' will always result. This will inevitably lead to future 'Enron' and 'WorldCom' situations.

(more review pending as I have time...)

I would highly recommend this book to anyone willing to think about what they believe and critically consider the implications. However it may prove difficult or even somewhat confusing for anyone looking for a 'pat answer'.
