Marsha A. Moore

It's not often that a book comes along where you are sad when it ends, at least not for me, Witch's Moonstone Locket from Marsha A. Moore is one of those books. I am eagerly awaiting book 2, I want to know what happens next!

I wish I could meet someone like Rowe, he's so romantic and sweet, many a girls dream guy. Jancie is the one that captures his heart though, she's a very lucky girl, or maybe not with the trials and tribulations she must endure first. Not least from Pandora she is one evil witch, I most definitely would not want to get on the wrong side of her.

The story starts a little slow, and I wondered if I would enjoy it, but the pace soon picks up into a nice steady rhythm, giving the reader plenty of time to connect with the characters.

The character's are well-developed throughout, so like I often say, I felt the emotions from crying for Jancie, worrying about Rowe, excitement when things go wrong, and as for Pandora - hmm.

A mixed bag here with an enchanting tale and unique plot but it felt like the author was trying too hard. The characters were difficult to relate to or bond with as we are told nearly every moment of each day and are frequently reminded of the tragic points in Lyra's past (I lost count how many times the divorce was mentioned) only to suddenly have her swooning over Cullen. It felt like every detail had to be described which took away from the story. However, I loved the world building and the variety of creatures.… (plus d'informations)
