Be prepared for satire and dad jokes on the day you set aside for this PG contemporary paranormal supernatural battle of good against evil in a complicated Arthurian conspiracy that starts in the Ozarks before traveling to Saint Louis.

This set has five days' worth of five-star bloody satire.

Bloody Queen: Allow a day for this adult paranormal supernatural procedural that sees Mercy Brown travel from New Orleans, Louisiana to Exeter, Rhode Island to deal with Ramon a new plague of vampires there.

Bloody Underground: Allow a day for this contemporary PG15 paranormal supernatural satire set in Exeter, Rhode Island where Mercy Brown and her team of vampires are battling the latest incarnation of the Order of the Morning Dawn. There are a few chuckles along the way and a great deal of religion and philosophy.

Bloody Retribution: Have a tissue handy the day you read this contemporary philosophical paranormal fantasy satire set in Providence, Rhode Island but don't be surprised by the chortles.

Bloody Bastards: Allow a day for this PG contemporary paranormal supernatural urban war fantasy satire that picks up right after Bloody Retribution and is set mainly around Providence, Rhode Island.

Bloody Brilliance: Set aside a day for this PG exploration of the nature of depravity in this paranormal supernatural quest of Mercy Brown for her soul.

This is book 4 of 6 in the series; while it helps to read the previous books, there is a quick reference to previous events so readers can catch up with this story. The series is ideal for young adults, the writing is young, easy to read, and swift: there are no questions asked and anything said is accepted at face-value. The book reads like The Black Cauldron, narrated from Hailey's point of view.
