One of those box sets where the box is actually better than the books it contains. The carry handle on top can be put down and locked into its lowered position so it's not flopping around. There's a pull tab that lets you lift the audiobook CD up out of its securely-seated slot like a computer CD tray. And it's all brightly colored with cute pictures.

The books themselves are solid with nice-looking illustrations, but once you start reading them, the stories are simplistic and bland. And the narrator of the audio portion is subpar, doing little emoting and no character voices. He uses up all his energy singing some really repetitive and awful songs at the beginning and end of each story. It's the same sea-shanty-sounding tune with slight changes to the lyrics for each book, and you have to listen to it like six or eight times in the course of listening to the whole CD. Pure torture.
