Steve Miller loves authenticity. ICP are authentic (even though they ripped off a genre from *dingdingding* black people, Esham first horror rap album in 1989, Nigga Creep, and Natas, none of which get mentioned once.) because they do not have major label connections.

Wrestling is not commercial neither is hundreds of thousands in merch sales because, Steve Miller says so.

Mark Dancey is not authentic even though he actually lives in Detroit (ICP are from a rich suburb, Ferndale) and has been turning out art since the 80's and played in Big Chief and Born Without a Face when ICP were in diapers.

NYTimes Readers do not "get stuff."

Rock journalism is old and boring, even though Miller wrote a book about, wait for it...ROCK MUSIC IN 2013...

So, if you can slog through Miller's retarded opinions, you can enjoy a somewhat entertaining two star rock history of some of the shittiest music ever made and the free speech trial that occurred, because that is authentic, even the tired old rock guys did it in the 90's with Tipper Whore.

This book is a bit funny to read--it's got a weird flow because of the dialogue-type structure which I enjoyed once I got used to it. Some of it is fascinating; some of it really shows the misogynous nature of music and rock in particular.

Convicted of two murders in 2002, after serving eight years of a 110 year sentence, Sara Jo Pender escaped from Indiana Department of Correction’s Rockville Correctional Facility. My complete review is available at my book review blog: http://www.tgblogger.com/?p=767
