This book was written from the heart. Carolanne has a lot to share, and it's clear that she wants the world to see how Christ has carried her through some tough circumstances and changed her life. It wasn't my favorite as far as writing style, and it didn't *quite* hit home for me the way it did for some others. I can, however, definitely see how it might be helpful to others who have suffered similarly. I would consider recommending it to someone in those circumstances and may pick it up for another read in the future. Perhaps it will reveal something more at a different time in my life. All in all, not a bad book, just not very impactful for me and not my favorite.… (plus d'informations)

I could not put this book down! The author, Carolanne Miljavac tells hers stories straight and leaves nothing out as if she is your best friend and your sitting right in front of her experiencing it together. I've never laughed, cried and laughed so much. It has left me looking at my own life and feeling like no matter how hard it gets if I have faith and try to laugh just a little more than I can make it through and that's something I definitely need right now.

What an absolute joy it was to read She Laughs : Choosing Faith over Fear. Rather than a regular Bible study on female characters or putting herself in the center of attention, Carolanne Miljavac is writing in a very relatable way, yet sharing some of her lessons she has taken the hard way when it comes to Christian faith in action. Who doesn't want to be in control, struggles with fears and uncertainties, and has a tough time forgiving what others, especially loved ones, did to you? Which other Christian author wrote phrases like: "If you don't know what your husband's pee smells like, are you even married?" And did you ever hear a Christian sister testify to have to cut her sports bra off with scissors, after being strapped. Nope, Carolanne is not your average marriage counsellor.

Without referencing to Sarah in particular, she laughs, despite fears and longing for material things, expects her salvation and help from the Lord, God Almighty. To laugh keeps to humble, honest, and transparent on all human things, stupid situations, and bizarre encounters in daily life on our quest to peace and love.

The beginning hooked me and like a catfish nabbing a tasty worm I didn’t want to let go. Her words jumped off the page and would quickly become my “She Laughs” diet because I love this book more than chocolate.
