Tere Michaels

Ero pronta a scrivere una recensione assai entusiasta su questo romanzo così tenero e dolce. Sul serio. Poi sono arrivata al finale, o almeno all’ultimo quarto di romanzo, nel quale Tere Michaels è diventata Mr. Hyde e ha fatto un casino con i suoi personaggi.

Senza fare spoiler, l’ultima parte di Fedeltà e fiducia è l’esempio lampante di come si possa scrivere un romanzo squilibrato: molta enfasi posta nelle fasi iniziali della storia tra Evan e Matt e poca attenzione dedicata all’epilogo. Non fraintendetemi, la cautela e la lentezza erano necessarie per far avvicinare Evan e Matt visti i loro reciproci passati (e infatti le ho apprezzate), ma le dinamiche finali del loro rapporto sono assolutamente inadeguate per tirare le fila di quanto scritto prima.
