George Michael (1) (1963–2016)

George Michael was born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou in East Finchley, London, England on June 25, 1963. In the early 80's he and Andrew Ridgeley were the duo Wham! Their songs included Young Guns (Go for It!) and Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. The duo dissolved in 1986. His hit songs included Careless Whisper, Father Figure, I Want Your Sex, Monkey, One More Try, Freedom '90, Praying for Time, Outside, Shoot the Dog, and White Light. In 1988, he won a Grammy Award for I Knew You Were Waiting (for Me), a duet with Aretha Franklin, and the Grammy for album of the year for Faith.
