Tender Death (Smith and Wetzon Mystery #2) par Annette Meyers
Hazel and Leslie Watson had been visiting Peepsie, a rich old lady with Alzheimer's, just before she supposedly jumped to her death from her 20th-floor apartment. Leslie enlists the aid of an ambitious journalist to find the person she suspects pushed Peepsie from her roof. Ms Meyers built a large cast of characters some I liked, some I hated. And, at times the story bogged down with too much description of New York and needless dialogue. But no gratuitous sex scenes for filler. Altogether an interesting murder which I enjoyed.… (plus d'informations)
Probably the best of the series, but it might be that I like it because of the dance aspects.
A decent mystery with well developed characters. I wish there was a third. I'm curious to see how Oliva grows as a character.
