*That God would love me, that He would call me His child and choose me for this time-crossing gift was amazing to contemplate. It was a burden, to be sure, but it was also a blessing.*
Grace and Hope Eaton are twins with different personalities. But their bond is so strong that they vow to stay together no matter what. Living in two different times is extremely difficult because in one timeframe they live in Salem Village in 1692 during the witch trials. They get a respite in the other timeline in 1912 where Hope is adventurous and learns to fly an airplane, while Grace makes strides as a journalist for a New York newspaper.
Their love lives are problematic as each one pines for a man who does not return their affections. But how can they marry before their 25th birthday, when they are to choose which time period to remain in for the rest of their days?
Lots of twists, turns and danger await them as well as unexpected meetings with people who are connected to them. And underlying it all is an abiding faith that knows God is in control of their lives.
This was another fascinating offering in a unique time-crossing setting that will astonish you and at the same time take you captive with its imaginative storylines.

I am so grateful I got to read an early review of this book because now I have a new favorite author! Gabrielle Meyer did an excellent job using history to instantly immerse the reader into the story. I loved reading about her research at the end of the book. It's cool to see how much of the story was based on real people and events. While this is the third book in her series you can easily read it as a standalone. It is difficult to have two different narrators with distinct voices but Meyer nailed it. Throughout the book, I found my interest changing between the two narrators. First getting engrossed in one of their stories and then the other. The pacing is well done. Overall, it's just an incredibly enjoyable read. There is also a Christian message throughout the story which was well done. It felt genuine and left me feeling uplifted at the end of the book. This would be a great book for a book club!… (plus d'informations)

In This Moment was a great read, keeping me engaged the whole time. It was difficult to put down due to the "what is going to happen in life #". Even with the chapter changes, I never forgot or felt like I was hanging on to the previous chapter.
The MC had a lot of hard choices throughout the book and I think that the author handled addressing them perfectly.
I hope that ending means that there is going to be a third book.

I could not put this one down. You may think that having a time period switch every chapter is jarring, but the author pulled it off well. I was very invested in the characters' lives and can't wait for the next book of the series.
