Critiques

Twenty-five years as a practicing physician have convinced Dr. Mendelsohn that:«Annual physical examinations are a health risk.«Hospitals are dangerous places for the sick.«Most operations do little good and many do harm.«Medical testing laboratories are scandalously inaccurate.«Many drugs cause more problems that they cure.«The X-ray machine is the most pervasive and most dangerous tool in the doctor's office.

Dr. William Sears (our pediatrician) recommended this book - it's excellent

This book is so great. It's always nice to be reminded that parents can have a pretty good handle on their childrens' health without the aid/interference of a doctor.

This book has helped me, as a mother, through many a childhood illness.
