Lowell Mellett

Some guide! If you read the back cover blurb, you find that Mellett, among other things, served as one of President Franklin Roosevelt's assistants. Needless to say, this informs just about every analysis of votes in the book, which tends to push a progressive agenda. One imagines that Mellett was quite surprised by the results of the 1946 election. Perhaps the voters hadn't read his handy guide.
