This is a pretty good reference for teachers.
A standard text for beginning college teachers. This text covers the basics of how to teach at the college level and establishing collegial relations among faculty members. In addition, it points to a variety of sources for those interested in further study.

Regardless, this book definitely contains a lot of nuggets in it. They may be more or less helpful depending on your field (there is definitely more humanities-centric content here, as I find is true with most books on pedagogy) and the amount of time you've spent teaching. But even if I just get one or two ideas from a book on how to refine my craft, then that book is worth reading. This book is worth reading.… (plus d'informations)
