Lazarus Stone was an interesting read. Some good and some bad.The pacing is off, some parts are rushed and other parts are slow. The writer also repeats things when describing what is going on which comes off as just filler words.
He also adds in game references which in this story appeared to all be from Assassins Creed which was jarring at first. The fighting between the brother/sister got old too and seem like every time the sister spoke it was refer to as nagging. The plot itself was pretty good if the pacing could be worked out. The ending was very sudden but I'd not have any desire to read more.… (plus d'informations)

"Selling Yourself" is an interesting book of posts that I recommend reading. It gives answers to questions about how not to create setbacks for yourself; how not to worry about what others think of me, etc. The book reminds us that we manage our lives, and that it is important to know where we want to go.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has ever wanted to do anything but found excuses not to even try. There are so many great examples of what we do to get in our own way. And how to stop doing those things. What I found especially inspiring was the way the author shared his own experiences with such candor and humor. It was his voice that kept me turning the pages. This is an empowering book and I hope many people read it and benefit from it as I have.

This book is really interesting. It makes you want to just read it all in one day. I wish I had read it in college, but better late than never. The book gives you confidence to make your dreams a reality.
